Music

There are several opportunities where you can offer your musical talents and gifts to the Safe Harbor worship services.

Safe Harbor incorporates multiple forms of worship during our services to help God's people express the joy of their salvation to the one who saved them. Music and singing is a large part of our worship experience, creatively blending children's choirs, instrumental pieces, traditional choir and contemporary styles as part of Worship services.

More detailed information is available in the Music Ministry Purpose Statement

CONTEMPORARY PRAISE WORSHIP MUSIC

The Contemporary "Praise Worship Team" primarily uses music and lyrics that today's Christians can relate to by worshipping with familiar words that offer meaning and reflection to the truth's of our faith. Some songs are strictly "contemporary" while many are actually long lost hymns with deep and powerful lyrics sung in a way that meets believers in today's culture. Sometimes traditional hymns with traditional tunes are sung in a contemporary style.

You are always invited to communicate musical requests, suggest new songs, offer feedback to enhance worship, or participate in the group. Currently rehearsals are 8:30am Sunday morning prior to the church service in the church sanctuary.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR

The children will sing in service about 4 times during the season, and then visit an assisted living home in May to present their songs. There are lots of opportunities for the children with solos, harmonies, round-singing and learning signs. And just having fun!
